| Hi, I am Matt Shellenberg and welcome to my website. I have been very interested in wildlife since I was a kid and I have been an avid birder for many years. I have been involved with photography for over 20 years and a few years ago I made the switch to digital photography and began photographing birds. Wow, two great activities combined, birding and photography. I have created this site so that I may share my images. I really strive to capture images that show great detail and color. It really excites me when someone views one of my images, seeing up close details they would not normally have the opportunity to see, allowing them to appreciate the beauty of these awesome creatures. I specialize in Bird photography, however, I have included other images such as mammals, reptiles, amphibians and butterflies that I have captured while in the field.
